T.P.E.S. 00 can be seen as the first Temporary Penetrable Exhibition Space since it was the first intervention with grids that was actually enterable.
‘I entered my old college one day because I remember being intrigued by this wooden lid underneath a stairway in the school’s building complex. I needed to know what was behind that door. As a gift to myself I marked my presence there with a grid which I painted with a brush connected to a wooden stick. Later, when I was halfway through my Temporary Penetrable Exhibition Space project, I realized that this was actually the kickoff of the whole project, so I called it #00.’
